Mabui Gaze Ring features a vintage lab-grown chrysolite in a marquise cut, set in Sterling Silver that was hand-sculpted in wax before being cast.
Named after the Ryukyuan concept of "mabui"—the soul or life force that can wander from the body—this ring serves as a talisman to anchor and protect one's spiritual essence.
The elongated marquise shape creates an eye-like gaze, as if the stone itself watches over the wearer's mabui. The bright spring-green brilliance of the chrysolite evokes vitality and renewal, a fitting tribute to the life force it represents. By using deadstock lab-grown stones from the 1980s and working with local vendors, this piece embraces sustainable practices that honor both ancestral wisdom and environmental responsibility.

Jewelry care: Clean sterling silver with a soft polishing cloth to restore its shine. For thorough cleaning, use warm, soapy water and a soft brush, then dry completely. Chrysolite (peridot) is relatively durable but should be protected from harsh chemicals and extreme temperature changes. Remove your ring before swimming, cleaning, or applying lotions and perfumes. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Ring Size: 7.5 US (fits comfortably on a size 6 finger)
* Important note about size: Because this ring is wider than 8mm, it'd feel tighter because they contact more of your finger's surface area. As your finger tapers from the knuckle down, a wide band sits across a greater portion of that taper, making it feel snugger. I recommend going up a half to full size for rings that are 8mm wide or more. Therefore, even if it is a 7.5 ring size, it'll fit comfortably on a regular size 6 finger. Narrower rings feel looser because they contact less surface area and can shift more easily around the natural variations in your finger's shape.

Orders within the United States may be returned for store credit within 10 days of delivery, excluding items subject to final sale. Refunds are not available.

We do not accept returns or exchanges of any of the above items.
If you wish to return an item that is eligible for return, please contact studio@liliamhiga.com to initiate the return process. Returns must be authorized by a customer service representative. If your purchase is eligible for return, a customer service representative will provide instructions for return and a return authorization form that must be included with your return shipment. Returns must be shipped within 3 days of your receipt of the return authorization form.
Items must be in original, unworn condition, including original packaging, to be accepted for return. In the event of noncompliance, we reserve the right to deny the return and/or deduct a restocking or repair fee from any store credit.
Returns initiated beyond 10 days of receipt of your order, or shipped beyond 3 days of your receipt of a return authorization, will not be accepted.
Please note that store credit issued as a result of a return excludes any shipping fees paid in connection with the original order, and that all return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
